Howard Deneroff is the President and Founder of Stand By Media LLC.

He is the former EVP and Executive Producer at Westwood One Sports, where he was responsible for the coordination and execution of the on-air and remote production for all sports programming, including live national radio play-by-play broadcasts of major sporting events. During his 35-year tenure at the network, Deneroff produced more than one-thousand NFL game broadcasts and produced more Super Bowl broadcasts than anyone else in NFL history.

He also presided over Westwood One’s coverage of the NHL, the Olympics, the Masters, horse racing’s Triple Crown, college football, and all of the NCAA’s championship properties -- including the Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments and the Men’s and Women’s Final Fours.

For the past five years, he also coordinated the national radio coverage of NCAA Men’s Final Four and the NCAA Men’s Championship Game in Spanish. Earlier in his career, Deneroff served as Coordinating Producer for CBS Radio Sports and Westwood One’s Spanish language broadcasts of both the NFL and Major League Baseball.

In addition to live production, Deneroff also played a key role in rights negotiations between Westwood One and its many partners, including college conferences, professional sports teams, and sports leagues and organizations. He recruited and hired all on-air talent while also managing a full-time production staff, plus hundreds of freelance production personnel.

Deneroff has been a guest lecturer for Syracuse University, Fordham University, and the Ohio and Colorado Centers for Broadcasting.  He also taught a course on Radio Sports Production at Montclair State University. For 16 years he has been the faculty advisor for the radio play-by-play portion of “NFL Broadcast Boot Camp,” an annual seminar hosted by the NFL to teach broadcasting and reporting skills to current and former players.

Deneroff is a graduate of Syracuse University’s esteemed Newhouse School of Communications, with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.
